MEDININAGAR – The 72nd annual Shri Ramcharitmanas Navah Parayan Mahayagya concluded with grandeur on Friday at Tulsi Manas Mandir, near Sahitya Samaj Chowk, Palamu, as devotees celebrated Shri Ram Rajyabhishek Utsav on Kartik Purnima.
Former Divisional Commissioner Jatashankar Choudhary, the chief guest, performed rituals at Shri Ram Darbar and ceremonially applied a tilak to the idol of Shri Ram, guided by priests Pandit Anjani Pathak and Santosh Pathak amidst Vedic chants.
Choudhary spoke about the universal power of God, emphasizing that understanding His true nature and grace is essential for humanity.
He highlighted that adopting the ideals of Shri Ram, who established noble principles during his incarnation in Treta Yuga, is the pathway to a successful life.
Special guest Dr. Jung Bahadur Pandey, former head of the Hindi Department at Ranchi University, encouraged the audience to embrace Shri Ram’s divine teachings for a meaningful and purposeful life.
The event also marked the conclusion of the week-long recitation of the Ramcharitmanas, which began on November 8 under the guidance of Pandit Vijaykant Shastri.
The festival was organized by the temple committee, led by secretary Shivnath Agrawal.
Prominent attendees included Pandit Aditya Prakash Tripathi, Sachidanand Mishra, Bharat Singh, Ramnaresh Pathak, and several other dignitaries and devotees.
