Saiba Kinnar and family members injured in assault in Dhatkidih Medical Bustee

Jamshedpur: A person of third gender Saiba Kinnar and her family members were assaulted by some people in Dhatkidih Medical Bustee under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station.

Saiba Kinnar and her sister Benti were injured in the assault. They have been admitted in MGM Hospital for treatment.

After receiving information about the assault, Sanjana Kinnar also reached MGM Hospital. Sanjana said that after the demise of Saiba Kinnar’s brother, her sister in law has got a job in Meherbai Cancer Hospital and lives in the quarter given by the hospital. However, she is also claiming rights on the house in which Saiba Kinnar lives.

Sanjana Kinnar said that the dispute is an old one and attempts were being made to resolve the matter through negotiation. But, her sister-in-law suddenly assaulted her and her family members. She said that Bistupur police have been informed about the incident and she appealed to the administration to do justice in the matter.
