DC holds meeting with Incident Commanders, issues instructions on home isolation

Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum district Suraj Kumar held a review meeting with senior officers and incident commanders and discussed different issues like home isolation, contact tracing, monitoring and management, data entry, discharge and shifting. The crucial meeting was held in the wake of increasing number of infected persons in the district.

The DC issued fresh instructions about home isolation. He said that according to the union home ministry directives, all patients who are living under home isolation have to be monitored.

He said that more than 1000 persons are living under home isolation presently.

Incident commanders were instructed to ensure that the protocol for home isolation is followed properly in the district.

The DC said that a list of those corona infected persons would be given to incident commanders who want home isolation.

He said that the incident commander would visit the house and find out by inspecting rooms and bathrooms whether the person concerned can live in home isolation. Only after his recommendation a decision would be taken about whether that person can remain in home isolation or not.

He said that there are three private labs – Pathkind, SRL Lab and Lal Path – were home isolation patients can get themselves tested.

The DC also issued instructions for issuing daily data entry bulletins and updation of daga on ICMR portal.

The meeting was attended by ADC Saurav Kumar Sinha, DTO Dinesh Ranjan, IDSP in-charge Dr Md Asad, Executive Magistrate Manmohan Prsad, Jamshedpur Sadar CO Anurag Tiwari, Jugsalai Municipal Council Executive Officer Jagdish Yadav, Ravindra Yadav, Incident commander Savita Topno, Pramod Ram and Chandradeso Prasad.
