Kendriya Durga Puja Samity holds condolence meeting, pays rich tributes to late Tara Chand Mahanty

Jamshedpur: Kendriya Durga Puja Samity, Jamshedpur today organised a condolence meeting to pay tributes to the late chairman of the Samity Tara Chand Mohanty.

The condolence meeting was chaired by the general secretary of the Kendriya Durga Puja Samity Ram Babu Singh.

In his condolence speech, Ram Babu Singh said that Tara Chand Mahanty would always be missed by the Kendriya Durga Puja Samity. He said that Samity is mindful of the great work done by late Mahanty and it would continue working to take his mission ahead.

Those who were a part of the condolence meeting included Ashutosh Singh, Ashok Singh, Omi Ojha, Shambhum Mukhi, Gopal Singh, Satendra Kumar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Ajay Sharma, Manish Singh, Parmatma Mishra, Sardar Sarabjit, Bobby Singh, Sunil Debuka, Diljoy Bose, Gautam Prasad, Pradip Kumar Das and others.

A two minute’s silence was also observed in the memory of late Tara Chand Mahanty.

Co-secretary of the Samity, Shambhu Mukhi Dungri proposed the vote of thanks.
