Shramik Special brings 250 migrant workers to Tatanagar from Chennai

Jamshedpur: The migrant workers continue to come back to Jharkhand. Shramik Special Trains have been arriving at Tatanagar Railway Station after every two or three days.

Although Shramik Special had not arrived at Tatanagar Railway Station for the last one week, today one such train did arrive and brought back 250 migrant workers.

These migrant workers were allowed to disembark amid tight safety arrangements.

A medical team examined the workers and then they were allowed to step out of the railway station complying with social distancing norms.

All the workers have been sent to quarantine centres.

Most of these workers have arrived from Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The CO, Anurag Tiwari, said that Shramik Special was heading to Howrah from Chennai and 250 workers disembarked here at Tatanagar Railway Station.
