Cloud Cover Brings Respite from Cold Wave in Jamshedpur

Dense fog slows down Jamshedpur as cold wave eases

Key Points:

  • Clouds bring relief from cold wave after a week of chill
  • Dense fog disrupts morning activities in Jamshedpur
  • Weather to remain similar for the next two days

JAMSHEDPUR – Cloud cover has provided much-needed relief from the intense cold wave that gripped Jamshedpur and nearby areas for a week. However, dense fog on Sunday morning caused disruptions in the city’s daily routine.

Dense fog blanketed Jamshedpur early Sunday, significantly reducing visibility. As a result, the streets saw minimal activity, with most residents opting to stay indoors. The usual crowd of morning walkers was also notably sparse.

Weather Patterns Persist

According to the meteorological department, the weather conditions are expected to remain the same for the next two days. Cloudy skies will likely prevent temperatures from dropping further. However, the persistent fog could continue to impact visibility during early hours.

Impacts on Daily Life

Meanwhile, the reduced visibility slowed down morning travel and activities. Commuters faced difficulties, while local markets opened later than usual due to the chilly and foggy conditions.

A resident shared, “The clouds are a relief, but the fog makes it hard to start the day early.”
