JAMSHEDPUR – The JNAC has stressed the need to focus on cleanliness in the city and is seeking help from all stakeholders for this.

The assembly, aimed at addressing the noticeable decline in sanitation standards within the JNAC jurisdiction, resulted in a clear directive for enhanced cleanliness measures.

Supervisors received explicit instructions to bolster their sanitation efforts, highlighting the vital role of maintaining exemplary cleanliness levels for the health and well-being of the community.

Immediate actions mandated include the thorough cleaning of drains, consistent road sweeping, and the prompt disposal of garbage, responding proactively to the city’s cleanliness complaints.

Contractors were encouraged to actively contribute to the city’s sanitation efforts, underscoring their duty as responsible members of the community.

The meeting also called for the submission of detailed reports on employee allocation and cleanliness operations, aiming for more effective monitoring and subsequent improvements in sanitation practices.

Special officers and city managers have been assigned the responsibility of overseeing and improving cleanliness initiatives in specific areas, ensuring a targeted approach to enhancing Jamshedpur’s overall sanitation.

This collaborative effort between JNAC and local contractors marks a significant step towards revitalizing the city’s cleanliness standards, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering a cleaner, healthier Jamshedpur.
