During a surprise inspection, MLA Saryu Rai uncovered significant sanitation neglect in several Jamshedpur areas, leading to a stern warning against local contractors.
JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Saryu Rai, in a spontaneous inspection of Laxmi Nagar, Premnagar, Bajrangi Bagan, and Jhagrubagan, encountered severe cleanliness issues, prompting immediate action.
He found that the contracted cleaning work was being neglected, leaving areas littered with garbage and drains clogged.
Rai has issued a warning to the JNAC officer, demanding substantial improvements within two to three days.
The MLA has threatened to escalate the issue by dumping the accumulated garbage at the gates of the Jamshedpur Access if the situation does not improve.
Local residents, including Amit Sharma, Vinod Rai, and Naveen Kumar, have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the contractor, alleged to have ties with influential local politicians.
Rai’s ultimatum aims to ensure swift action, emphasizing the community’s intolerance for the current state of cleanliness and contractor negligence.
