Militant Sympathizer Shot Dead in Gundri, Investigation Underway

In a shocking development, Matias alias Mangra Tuti, known for his support of the PLFI militant group, was brutally murdered in Gundri village, sparking concerns over internal conflicts within Naxalite factions.

CHAKRADHARPUR – An alleged PLFI supporter Matius alias Mangra Tuti has been shot dead allegedly in an internecine strife between factions of naxal supporters.

The incident occurred in the Anandapur police station area of West Singhbhum, where Matias, a resident of Birkel village, fell victim to an unidentified assailant’s bullets.

Having previously been incarcerated in connection with a Naxalite case, Matias had only regained his freedom approximately two months prior to the attack.

The attack took place on Sunday evening as Matias visited the Gundri village market, where he was shot dead in a sudden act of violence.

Authorities discovered three bullet casings at the scene, hinting at the intensity of the assault.

Police were alerted to the tragedy and have since conducted a thorough examination of the crime scene, recovering Matias’s body on Monday.

The motive behind Matias’s murder remains a mystery, though speculations suggest it may be related to ongoing power struggles within the Naxalite organization.

Law enforcement officials have launched a comprehensive investigation to unearth the circumstances leading to Matias’s death and identify those responsible for this heinous act.

This incident has raised alarms over the internecine rivalry between different naxal supporter factions in the region, underscoring the dangerous realities of the Naxalite movement’s internal dynamics.
