Quick Response Averts Major Fire in Jamshedpur

Locals and Driver Quell Fire on Straw-Laden Truck in Bagbera

In a display of quick action, Jamshedpur residents and the driver managed to contain a fire on a mini truck carrying straw.

JAMSHEDPUR – A mini truck carrying straw caught fire near the Harharguttu drain in the Bagbera area.

The incident prompted immediate action from both the driver and local bystanders.

The driver stopped the truck in the middle of the road upon noticing the fire.

Local residents quickly gathered to assist in extinguishing the blaze.

They began by removing the burning straw from the vehicle.

Thanks to the joint efforts, the fire was successfully contained.

The driver was delivering the straw to a local recipient at the time of the incident.

It is suspected that the truck encountered an overhead electric wire, leading to a fire through a possible short circuit.

The prompt response from the community prevented the situation from worsening.
