Governor calls for Public Service Commission for university roles, enhancing educational governance.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan proposes a Public Service Commission to streamline university appointments in Jharkhand.

JAMSHEDPUR – CP Radhakrishnan, the Governor of Jharkhand, has initiated steps towards improving the administrative framework of higher education in the state.

He has officially requested the Jharkhand government to create a Public Service Commission dedicated to university appointments.

This proposal was made during a media interaction in Bistupur, alongside the CII annual session.

Radhakrishnan emphasized the Commission’s role in ensuring efficient oversight of university appointments.

He also highlighted Raj Bhavan’s vigilant monitoring of universities to enhance academic schedules and regularize sessions.

The Governor’s efforts aim to cultivate a student-friendly atmosphere in Jharkhand’s higher education sector.

Further, he is committed to the establishment of a technical college in each district to broaden access to technical education.

Radhakrishnan assured that the vacant Vice Chancellor positions would be filled within the next month.

This action is part of broader efforts to fill key vacancies in universities, reflecting a push for educational excellence and administrative efficacy in Jharkhand.
