Anand Bihari Dubey Flays Union Interim Budget

Government’s interim budget faces backlash for overlooking youth employment needs.

The interim budget’s lack of focus on job creation for youth draws sharp criticism amid economic challenges.

JAMSHEDPUR – Anand Bihari Dubey, District President, voiced strong objections to the recent interim budget presented by the Government of India, criticizing it for its apparent neglect of employment opportunities for the youth.

Dubey condemned the budget as merely a continuation of empty promises, emphasizing the BJP government’s failure to alleviate the general populace’s burdens.

He pointed out the absence of initiatives for educational advancement within the budget’s scope.

The government’s method of converting state highways into national highways without new constructions was criticized for misleading the public.

Dubey highlighted the government’s reluctance to ease the tax burden on employees’ salaries despite the nation grappling with an 83 lakh crore debt.

The imposition of various taxes has led to an increase in the government’s income tax revenue while individuals’ earnings have declined.

The statement reflected concerns over the weakening of small businesses and industries amidst rising corporate profits.

Dubey underscored the plight of 15 crore poor families left in distress, with no significant measures to uplift them.

He lamented the 46% decline in manufacturing in India, critiquing the central government’s inaction.

The outcry over the interim budget underscores significant discontent with the government’s economic strategies, particularly regarding employment for the younger demographic.
