Jamshedpur’s JRD Tata Sports Complex to Hold First Winter Sports Camp
Tata Steel Sports Department is set to organize its first-ever Winter Sports Camp 2023, from December 24 to 31, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, with registrations closing on December 24 at noon.
JAMSHEDPUR – The inaugural Winter Sports Camp 2023, hosted by Tata Steel Sports Department, is scheduled from December 24 to December 31 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.
Open to participants aged 6 to 18, the camp offers a wide array of sports, including swimming, horse riding, badminton, cricket, and more.
The camp will commence with an opening ceremony on December 24 and conclude with a prize distribution on December 31.
Daily activities will run from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with special swimming sessions from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Registration fees vary depending on the sport, ranging from ₹150 for yoga and Zumba to ₹400 for swimming and horse riding.
The Winter Sports Camp will also welcome 30 special children through Special Olympic Bharat-Jharkhand and 50 community children.
A Christmas Carnival, complete with a soft play area, live music, and food stalls, will enhance the opening ceremony.
Additionally, a session on Sports Psychology and Nutrition for parents is planned, offering valuable insights for attendees.
