Tata Steel UISL concludes Fire Service Week, focusing on employee safety through fire safety training, drills, and awareness programs.

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Utilities & Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) marked the successful completion of Fire Service Week on April 20, 2023, with a series of safety-related programs aimed at educating employees on fire safety measures and raising awareness.

The week-long campaign featured various activities, including fire safety mock drills, training sessions, evacuation drills, quiz competitions, fire safety audits, and fire safety video screenings. Staff members learned to effectively handle fire-related emergencies and follow established protocols.

Organized as per the fire Advisor’s guidelines from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the event focused on the role of fire services in protecting lives and property.

Participants were also taught coordination protocols between services such as fire and ambulance.

Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL, addressed the employees, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety policies and procedures.

He expressed gratitude to the employees for actively participating in the Fire Service Week, contributing to its success.

Employees displayed commendable enthusiasm and energy during the week-long program, which served as an excellent platform for Tata Steel UISL to educate and empower them in safety measures.

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to investing in safety measures and raising awareness among employees.

The officials of the company stressed that Tata Steel UISL remains dedicated to ensuring employee safety and plans to continue organizing similar events in the future to promote safety measures and increase knowledge of safety protocols.
