SAHIBGANJ – A tragic accident in the Jirwabadi area of Sahibganj claimed the life of 65-year-old Jogendra Ravidas after he was hit by a speeding truck.

Following the incident, outraged family members and local residents blocked the road, demanding justice and immediate action from authorities.

The police, including officers from Jirwabadi and Nagar police stations, quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the matter and manage the protest.

Currently, the body of Ravidas has been placed on the road by the protestors, who are refusing to lift the blockade until their demands are met.

The police have taken both the truck and the driver into custody.

Efforts are underway to negotiate with the agitated crowd and clear the road.
