Corona causes no death in Jharkhand on Saturday, 41 new cases

Ranchi: No deaths were caused by coronavirus in Jharkhand on Saturday as the total death toll in the state remained static at 1,077.

As per official data, the death toll remained static on Saturday in the state. However, 41 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in different parts of the state taking the total number of infections to 1,18,978.

According to official data, the state has tested 52,75,052 samples till date. Out of these, 1,18,979 have tested positive.

On the other hand, 1,17,474 patients also have been cured and discharged. On Saturday too, 54 patients were cured and discharged.

For now, the state has only 428 active cases of coronavirus.

The recovery rate for the state has now reached 98.73%, while the mortality rate is static at 0.90%.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-hit district of the state. However, for around 60 days, there has been only one death reported in East Singhbhum.
