Corona claims 1 life on Friday in Jharkhand, total death toll now 1,070

Ranchi: Coronavirus has taken one more life in Jharkhand on Friday. With this the total death toll in Jharkhand due to Coronavirus infection has now reached 1070.

According to official data, 45 new cases of coronavirus infection were also detected in different districts of Jharkhand.

With this the total number of infections in the state till Friday has now reached 1,18,602.

For now, the state has 628 active cases of coronavirus infection. According to official data, 51,99,013 samples have been tested in Jharkhand till Friday.

Out of these, 1,18,602 samples of tested positive while 1,16,904 patients have already been cured and discharged in different districts of Jharkhand.

On Friday, 86 patients of coronavirus were cured and discharged while one death was reported from Bokaro district.

The recovery rate in Jharkhand till Friday has reached 98.56%. On the other hand, the mortality rate is 0.90%.

East Singhbhum district remains the worst affected district of the state of Jharkhand.

However, for nearly 50 days East Singhbhum has reported only one death due to coronavirus.
