Kapali: Police have arrested the main accused Ahmed Jalil Ansari while revealing the murder of a youth that took place on May 15 in Kapali OP area of Seraikela Kharsawan district. The accused is a resident of Bishtupur in Jamshedpur and is originally from Siwan district of Bihar. On his behest, the police have also recovered the chapapar used in the murder.
The deceased was identified as 21 year old Mohd., resident of Kitadih Gadiwan Patti of Parsudih police station area. She was born as Tausif alias Raj. His body was found near Dongaghat on Dobo-Kanderbera main road in Kapali. Investigation revealed that the young man was attacked several times with a chapapad, due to which he died on the spot.
Disclosing the matter on Monday, Kapali OP in-charge Dheeranjan Kumar said that old enmity was the reason behind the murder. Investigation revealed that accused Ahmed Jalil Ansari first made Tausif sit with him and made him drink alcohol. After this, he called his colleague Sabir Ali alias Sonu to the spot and asked him to bring Chapad along with him.
According to the police, while drinking alcohol, the accused, as part of a pre-planned conspiracy, attacked Tausif with a chopper and killed him. After committing the crime, both the accused fled from the spot.
The second accused involved in the case, Sabir Ali alias Sonu, is currently in jail in another case. The police is engaged in the process of taking him on remand for questioning. The arrested accused Ahmed Jalil Ansari has confessed to his crime during interrogation.
Here, with the aim of giving the message of strict action against the criminals, Kapali police also conducted a foot march of the main accused in the area on Monday. After this march which was taken out amidst security arrangements, the accused was sent to judicial custody.
