JAMSHEDPUR – Newly appointed assistant teachers submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Nitish Kumar Singh on Tuesday. They protested violations of departmental SOP in postings. Moreover, copies were given to Deputy Development Commissioner.

The memorandum highlighted systematic guideline violations. District Education Establishment Committee ignored established procedures. However, other districts followed proper protocols.

SOP mandates posting teachers in home blocks. The committee violated this fundamental rule. Furthermore, several women and disabled teachers suffered disproportionately.

Disabled assistant teacher Anadi Kumar shared his ordeal. Officials posted him 50 kilometers away. In addition, his physical disability creates commuting difficulties.

Seraikela-Kharsawan district authorities overlooked special provisions. Many teachers received remote area postings. Besides, their home blocks had vacant positions.

Assistant teacher Kunal Das compared district practices. Other Jharkhand districts sought teacher preferences. Moreover, they strictly followed SOP guidelines.

Several districts requested option forms from teachers. Seraikela-Kharsawan completely ignored this practice. However, teachers demand similar consideration now.

The memorandum emphasized hardships faced by women teachers. They received postings in remote tribal areas. Furthermore, daily commuting poses significant safety concerns.

District Establishment Committee chairperson received the complaint copy. Teachers seek immediate corrective action. In addition, they demand adherence to established rules.

The delegation included multiple affected teachers. They presented documented evidence of violations. Besides, they cited examples from other districts.

Teachers emphasized their willingness to serve anywhere. However, departmental guidelines must be respected. Moreover, special categories deserve proper consideration.

The memorandum requested fresh posting orders. These should follow SOP provisions strictly. Furthermore, teachers’ home block preferences must be honored.

Officials have not responded to the complaints yet. Teachers await administrative action on their demands. However, they remain prepared for further protests.
