NBCC Colony and Jelgora Residents Die in Fatal Accident

DHANBAD – Two young men died Sunday when their speeding motorcycle collided with a parked truck in Sudamdih area of Jharia.

The victims were identified as Ritesh Modi and Jeetu Paswan. Both were approximately 20 years old. Moreover, they resided in NBCC Colony and Jelgora respectively.

The accident occurred near Seven Days Hotel in Pathardih. The motorcycle was traveling at high speed. However, it struck the truck’s rear end violently.

Modi died instantly at the accident site. Paswan sustained critical injuries in the collision. Furthermore, he was rushed to hospital immediately.

Doctors declared Paswan dead upon arrival. The impact proved fatal for both riders. Meanwhile, local residents witnessed the horrific incident.

Abhishek Pandey lives in the locality. He described the accident’s severity. “The bike hit the parked truck with tremendous force,” he stated.

The youths were coming from Sindri direction. They approached the Seven Days Hotel area. Subsequently, their motorcycle crashed into the stationary vehicle.

Sudamdih police reached the scene after receiving information. Officers took custody of both bodies. In addition, necessary legal procedures were initiated.

Police seized the damaged motorcycle and truck. Investigation into the accident has begun. Besides, authorities are examining the circumstances thoroughly.

The victims’ families have been notified. Legal formalities are being completed. On the other hand, the area mourns the tragic loss.

Road accidents remain a persistent concern in Dhanbad district. Similar incidents have occurred in nearby areas. Furthermore, speeding contributes to numerous fatalities.

A 42-year-old died earlier in Seraikela after hitting a parked truck. Head-on collisions have claimed multiple lives recently. Meanwhile, authorities emphasize traffic safety measures.

Previous accidents sparked protests in various locations. A youth’s death in Gamharia triggered demonstrations. Besides, a fatal accident shut down Kharsawan market entirely.

A young engineer from Jamshedpur died in a road accident previously. Another incident in Kadma killed an indigent man during Eid procession. Furthermore, a police escort vehicle overturned killing the driver.
