Unity March on Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary
Two District-Level Marches Planned in Jamshedpur on November 26 and 28

JAMSHEDPUR – The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organizing a nationwide Unity March to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary.
Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato announced the program today. He addressed a press conference. Moreover, he outlined the complete schedule for the initiative.
The campaign is being conducted through Mera Yuva Bharat. It aims to strengthen national unity among youth. Additionally, it promotes integrity and social responsibility.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision inspired this initiative. The program emphasizes public participation. Furthermore, it aligns with the Viksit Bharat pledge.
Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched the digital phase. The launch occurred on October 6, 2025. However, it was conducted through the Mera Bharat Portal.
The digital phase includes multiple competitions. Social media reel contests are being organized. Essay writing competitions are also part of the program.
The Sardar @ 150 Young Leaders Program is underway. It will select 150 youth participants. These selected individuals will join the national march.
East Singhbhum district will host two marches. The first march begins on November 26, 2025. It will start near Bistupur Patel Memorial.
The route passes through Bistupur Traffic Signal. Participants will proceed via Outer Circle Road. The march will return to Patel Memorial.
The second march takes place on November 28. Patmada will host this event. Local youth are expected to participate enthusiastically.
The national-level march covers significant distance. It stretches from Karamsad to Statue of Unity. The total distance measures approximately 150 kilometers.
Youth selected from across India will participate. The march represents a historic journey. It celebrates Sardar Patel’s legacy and contribution.
The program strengthens feelings of national pride. It encourages youth involvement in nation-building. Community participation remains central to the initiative.
