Corona in Jharkhand on Sunday: 2 deaths, total deaths 866, 258 new cases

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed two lives on Sunday in Jharkhand. With this, the total death toll for the state due to coronavirus has reached 866.

According to official data, on Sunday itself 258 new covid-19 infection cases were detected. On the other hand, 378 were also declared cured and were discharged from different hospitals and from home quarantine.

Two persons succumbed to the virus in the state on Sunday.

As per official data, the state has tested a total of 31,09,483 samples in the state. Out of these, 99,686 samples have tested positive. Out of these, 92,976 patients have also been cured and discharged. However, 866 patients have also succumbed to the disease.

East Singhbhum remains the most affected district in the state, both in terms of deaths as well as total infection cases.
