CHAIBASA – Jharkhand’s DGP Thadasha Mishra held a strategic meeting in Chaibasa to assess ongoing anti-Naxal operations in the Saranda area.

The DGP arrived in Chaibasa on Wednesday. She received a formal guard of honor. The ceremony took place at Tata College ground.

Several senior officials attended the event. IG Campaign S. Michael Raj was present. CRPF Jharkhand Sector IG Saket Kumar Singh also joined.

A high-level review meeting followed at the district collectorate. Moreover, the session focused on anti-Naxal operations. Police, CRPF, Cobra and Jharkhand Jaguar officers participated.

The meeting covered multiple strategic aspects. Security force deployment was thoroughly examined. However, recent operational progress received detailed attention.

Sensitive area situations were comprehensively reviewed. In addition, future strategy was extensively discussed. The DGP emphasized operational effectiveness.

“Security forces are conducting operations efficiently,” she stated. Furthermore, she highlighted the ongoing commitment to peace. The Saranda region remains a priority area.

Continuous efforts will persist in the region. On the other hand, establishing peace remains the primary objective. The DGP assured sustained operations ahead.

The review meeting assessed current security measures. Meanwhile, coordination between different forces was strengthened. Strategic planning for future operations was finalized.

Saranda forest area requires special attention. Besides, Naxal activities have declined significantly. The administration maintains vigilance in sensitive zones.

The guard of honor ceremony demonstrated respect. Nevertheless, the focus remained on operational matters. Senior officials pledged full support to field teams.
