JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College celebrated World Handwash Day with enthusiasm. The event took place on October 15, 2025.

Central Karimia School children participated in the program. The initiative aimed to spread hand hygiene awareness. Moreover, organizers focused on disease prevention among students.

Volunteers conducted an informative session at the venue. They demonstrated correct handwashing methods to attendees. The session highlighted how clean hands protect health.

“Clean hands, healthy future” echoed across the campus. Another slogan urged people to wash away diseases. Furthermore, the school premises resonated with these messages.

Principal Dr. Mohammad Riyaz appreciated all volunteers present. “Regular handwashing prevents minor illnesses easily,” he stated. He emphasized its importance for community health.

Program Officer Dr. Ale Ali coordinated the event. NSS Co-ordinator Syed Sajid Parvez assisted in organizing activities. In addition, both ensured smooth execution of proceedings.

Students pledged to maintain personal hygiene regularly. They promised to inspire others toward cleanliness. On the other hand, volunteers committed to continuing awareness efforts.

The initiative reached beyond college students significantly. Central Karimia School children gained valuable hygiene knowledge. Besides, the program spread positive health messages societally.

Participants learned practical handwashing steps during demonstrations. Volunteers explained when washing becomes most crucial. However, they stressed consistency in maintaining hand hygiene.
