RANCHI – Panic spread in Ranchi’s Kathal Mor area after a businessman was shot multiple times in broad daylight by unidentified criminals.

According to police sources, the victim, Radheshyam Sahu, was standing outside his shop, Shambhavi Enterprises, when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on him. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Local residents rushed to help the injured businessman. However, police arrived quickly and took Sahu to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, officers have begun examining CCTV footage from nearby buildings to identify the assailants. They have also started questioning Sahu’s family members to uncover possible motives behind the attack.

A police official said the investigation is in full swing and that every possible lead is being pursued to trace the shooters. The incident has raised serious concerns about rising street crimes in the state capital.
