329 Bottles of Illegal Liquor Seized From Tempo in Olidih

Police Raid Near Durga Temple, Driver Escapes From Spot

JAMSHEDPUR – Police in Jamshedpur seized a large consignment of illegal liquor from Olidih area on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, a raid was carried out near Durga Mandir on Shankosai Road No. 01.

During the raid, a tempo was intercepted. Upon checking, seven cartons containing 329 bottles of English liquor were recovered. However, the driver managed to flee from the spot. Police have taken custody of the seized liquor and the tempo.

The details of the seized liquor are as follows:

• Royal Stage 180 ML – 90 bottles
• Mack Doll 180 ML – 95 bottles
• Strling B-7 180 ML – 48 bottles
• Iconig White 180 ML – 96 bottles

The vehicle involved in the case was registered as JH05X-9410. Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation.
