Five Held in Adityapur Theft and Firing Cases
Police Recover Iron Rods, Country-Made Pistol and Live Cartridges

JAMSHEDPUR – Police in Adityapur announced the arrest of five suspects involved in separate theft and firing cases.
Station in-charge Vinod Tirkey said the arrests followed incidents on August 12 and August 15. The first case involved theft at Shanti Cement Company in Industrial Area Phase 6.
Police arrested Badal Gop, Ananto Pradhan, Raju Das, and Vikas Singh. On their indication, about five quintals of 16mm iron rods were recovered.
Meanwhile, the second case concerned a firing incident in Saldiha Basti on the night of August 14-15. According to police, shots were fired at Shambhu Mahato with intent to kill.
Under instructions from senior officials, a special team was formed. The team arrested accused Akash Singh Sardar with a country-made pistol, one live cartridge, and a used shell.
All five arrested individuals were sent to judicial custody after questioning.
