Khasmahal Hospital Hosts Awareness Program with Dignitaries Present

JAMSHEDPUR – Sadar Hospital at Khasmahal organized a special program on World Population Day with prominent political leaders emphasizing population control measures.

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato attended as chief guest for the event. MLA Mangal Kalindi joined as distinguished guest alongside other officials. Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi also participated in the awareness program.

However, Zilla Panchayat President Badi Murmu graced the occasion with presence. Vice President Pankaj Sinha accompanied other dignitaries at the venue. Civil Surgeon Dr. Sahil Paul coordinated the medical aspects.

Meanwhile, numerous ASHA workers attended the population awareness gathering. Hospital staff members participated actively in the educational program. The event highlighted community health worker contributions significantly.

On the other hand, guests inaugurated proceedings by lighting ceremonial lamps. Officials received traditional scarves and saplings as welcome gestures. The ceremony followed customary protocols for such occasions.

Moreover, health department launched a special awareness vehicle during the event. The MP and other guests flagged off the publicity van. The vehicle will spread population control messages across districts.

In addition, outstanding ASHA workers received recognition for exemplary service. ANM staff and doctors also got appreciation certificates. Mementos were presented to acknowledge their dedicated healthcare work.

Furthermore, MP Mahato highlighted India’s rising population concerns during his address. He warned about approaching China’s population figures in coming years. Future generations must understand population control importance, he emphasized.

Besides demographic concerns, the MP stressed economic implications of large families. Uncontrolled population growth affects financial and social systems adversely. Family planning becomes crucial for sustainable development, he added.

Meanwhile, MLA Kalindi reinforced the “Hum Do Hamare Do” slogan. Limited families enable better education and living standards for children. Inflation makes smaller families economically viable, he explained.

The program also educated attendees about family planning methods. Various population control measures were explained to participants. Information sessions covered reproductive health and contraceptive options.
