107 units collected at Chamber Bhavan on first day of Rotary Year

JAMSHEDPUR – Rotary Club of Jamshedpur East successfully organized blood donation camp at Chamber Bhavan collecting 107 units while celebrating multiple professional days on Tuesday.
The blood donation camp took place on July 1st. However, this marked the first day of Rotary Year celebrations. Moreover, the event embodied Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” perfectly.
Club President Puneet Kanvatiya inaugurated the camp ceremonially. Other officials and sponsors Sunil Agarwal and Sushil Agarwal participated. Furthermore, several dignitaries attended the opening ceremony together.
Organizers expressed gratitude to all blood donors who participated. The camp’s success depended on collective community support. Besides, sponsors received special acknowledgment for their crucial contributions.
Sponsor Sunil Agarwal addressed the gathering about blood donation significance. He described voluntary blood donation as the greatest charitable act. Meanwhile, the camp honored his late parents’ memory through service.
The event was organized in memory of late Deenanath Agarwal. Additionally, it commemorated late Sita Devi Agarwal’s contributions. However, their sons sponsored this humanitarian initiative completely.
Club officials played crucial roles in ensuring camp success. Service Project Director Prantik Sarkar coordinated activities efficiently. Moreover, Treasurer Balminder Singh and Past President Shubhrajit Basu contributed significantly.
Zone 6 Assistant Governor DN Jena provided inspirational guidance. His dignified presence enhanced the event’s significance considerably. Furthermore, his leadership motivated all participants effectively.
Paras Agarwal became the highlight of the camp today. He completed his 50th blood donation milestone during proceedings. Besides, his achievement inspired other donors present there.
The camp simultaneously celebrated Doctors Day and Chartered Accountants Day. Medical and financial professionals received recognition for excellence. Meanwhile, their societal contributions were acknowledged appropriately.
Distinguished guests included Dr Anup Gupta and VK Tulsiyan. Prema Gogna, PM Dutta, and Dr Dolly Gupta attended. Additionally, Kishan Sonthalia and Chandreshwar Khan participated actively.
