JAMSHEDPUR – In a heartbreaking incident on Thursday morning, Ram Karmakar, a 27-year-old resident of Rupaidanga in the MGM area, committed suicide by hanging himself. This tragic act underscores the severe consequences of financial distress as he struggled under the burden of debt.

According to family members, Ram had taken out a loan of 2 lakh rupees from a bank but was unable to keep up with the repayments. The mounting pressure from the bank contributed to his mental anguish, which he had shared with his wife. Following the incident, his family rushed him to MGM Hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors.

The loss has left Ram’s family in deep sorrow, as he is survived by his wife and two young children. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dire impact that financial pressures can have on individuals and families.
