JWU Sets Guidelines for Second Convocation Ceremony

Costume Distribution for Degree Recipients Begins January 30

Jamshedpur Women’s University announces comprehensive arrangements for its upcoming second convocation ceremony, with detailed guidelines for students and medal recipients.

JAMSHEDPUR – JWU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Anjila Gupta leads preparations for the second convocation ceremony.

The university has established a structured costume distribution system. Daily meetings monitor preparation progress.

Meanwhile, students must pay Rs 700 for convocation attire rental. A refund awaits after return.

Distribution Schedule

The Sidhgora Campus will distribute costumes between 11 AM and 4 PM. Collection starts January 30.

Moreover, specific rooms are assigned for different departments. Room assignments ensure organized distribution.

Furthermore, Room 104 exclusively serves toppers and rank holders.

Dress Code Guidelines

Students must choose between white salwar suits with red dupattas. Sarees follow specific color codes.

Meanwhile, all participants must report by 9 AM on convocation day.

Special Arrangements

Gold medalists receive special consideration for guardian attendance. Valid university IDs remain mandatory.

However, the administration advises against bringing small children to the ceremony.

The costume return process begins February 4 at Sidhgora Campus.
