RANCHI – Jharkhand cabinet approves implementation of State Higher Education Award Scheme.

The scheme will honor contributions in higher education sector. Teachers, students and institutions will receive recognition.

Meanwhile, the cabinet ordered dismissal of JAS officer Matias Vijay Toppo. His involvement in illegal land transfers prompted action.

Administrative Actions

Toppo currently serves as Director at Hazaribagh’s Rural Development Agency. The dismissal relates to his previous posting.

Moreover, two shadow teaching posts received approval for Doranda Girls School. These positions cover specific time periods.

Service Regularizations

The cabinet regularized services of retired postman Raj Kumar Ram. His financial benefits received approval.

Additionally, Senior Instructor Vijay Kumar Thakur’s service gained confirmation. His retirement benefits were sanctioned.

Construction Sector Update

New guidelines address increased GST rates for construction work. The rate change impacts Urban Development contracts.

Meanwhile, procedures for calculating differential amounts were established. This ensures smooth contract settlements.
