JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum district administration finalized preparations for the Republic Day celebrations with a parade rehearsal at Gopal Maidan. Participants included district police personnel, JAP forces, NCC cadets, and students from various schools.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kishor Kaushal oversaw the rehearsal and provided guidance to participants. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline during the parade. He advised participants, especially students, to remain focused and avoid distractions while saluting during the event.

Flag Hoisting and Security Measures

The Republic Day flag hoisting ceremony will be conducted by the state’s Education Minister, Ramdas Soren, at 9:05 AM. To ensure smooth celebrations, the district police have intensified security measures, including deployment of special forces. Additionally, inspections of hotels and lodges across the city are being carried out.
