GHATSHILA – The grand traditional Tusu Mela was organized at Kashia Football Ground in Baghuriya Panchayat of Ghatshila block on Saturday.
The fair featured vibrant displays of tribal culture. Local residents gathered in large numbers to participate in the celebrations.
Competition Results
Judges awarded the first prize to Chataro’s Tusu idol. Meanwhile, Halubani secured the second position with Rs 4,000 prize money.
Furthermore, Payargudi’s idol won the third prize of Rs 3,000. Consolation prizes were given to remaining participants.
Community Participation
Mukhiya representative Sunil Singh attended the event. Several panchayat officials and local leaders were also present.
In addition, the fair highlighted traditional Jharkhand folk dances. The event showcased the region’s rich tribal heritage.
