JAMSHEDPUR – A spectacular solo effort from Stephen Eze helped Jamshedpur FC secure a crucial 1-1 draw against table-toppers Mohun Bagan SG.

The Nigerian defender displayed remarkable skill in the 60th minute. He intercepted a ball near the midfield. Then, he dribbled past three defenders with impressive control. Finally, he finished clinically into the bottom corner.

First Half Battles

Javi Hernandez created several opportunities for the home side. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Vishal Kaith kept Mohun Bagan in the game. On the other hand, Albino Gomes made crucial saves for Jamshedpur.

The visitors broke through in the 25th minute. Tom Aldred set up Subhasish Bose from a corner. Moreover, Bose made no mistake with his finish.

Coach Khalid Jamil made three key substitutions at halftime. Siverio, Doungel, and Khan joined the action. However, it was Eze who changed the game’s complexion.
