JAMSHEDPUR – Women beneficiaries staged a protest at the Deputy Commissioner’s office over delayed payments.

The demonstrators expressed anger over fund distribution. They tore down banners at the government office.

Meanwhile, many claimed repeated visits to officials proved futile. The scheme’s website remains inaccessible.

Payment Issues

The state released funds on January 6. However, several beneficiaries’ accounts remain unpaid.

Moreover, protesters alleged unfair distribution. Some families received multiple payments while others got none.

Local Impact

Most protesters came from Prem Nagar. They demanded answers about payment exclusions.

Additionally, the women reported unsuccessful online attempts. “No officer listens to us,” one protester stated.

Furthermore, they accused officials of harassment. Their appeals for assistance remain unanswered.
