JAMSHEDPUR – A young student sustained critical injuries from contact with a low-hanging high-tension wire while flying kites during a school holiday.
The incident occurred in the residential area of Yashodanagar on Monday morning. A local child was engaging in recreational activities with companions. The situation rapidly escalated when he accidentally touched the electrical wire.
“We have repeatedly raised concerns about the dangerous placement of these power lines,” stated a community representative.
