SERAIKELA – A shocking theft incident occurred in Dheerajganj’s Sai Kalpana Society under Adityapur Police Station jurisdiction, where thieves broke into five flats across three blocks on Wednesday night. The affected residents reported the theft to the police in the morning, prompting an ongoing investigation.

Details of the Incident

The burglars targeted the homes of Prashant Pandey, Rajeev Ranjan Singh, Ashok Chauhan, Umashankar Prasad, and NK Yadav, all of whom were reportedly away during the night. CCTV footage captured the burglars in action, and authorities are analyzing the recordings for leads.

Assessment of Losses

As of now, the extent of the stolen items and the total value of losses remain unclear. Residents are working with police officials to estimate the damages.

Police Investigation Underway

The Adityapur Police are actively investigating the incident. “We are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to identify the culprits,” a police officer stated. Residents are urging authorities to enhance security measures in the area to prevent such incidents in the future.
