JAMSHEDPUR – The Pandit Raghunath Murmu Women’s Committee Trust has launched a dedicated attender service at Tata Main Hospital (TMH). The hospital management approved the initiative to enhance patient care through male attenders stationed round-the-clock.

Committee President Pratibha Kumari emphasized that the service operates on a no-profit, no-loss model. Each attender will exclusively care for one patient, ensuring focused assistance. The service began on Thursday with strict adherence to guidelines, including uniform dress codes and ID cards.

Improved Patient Care Initiative

This newly introduced service aims to support patients admitted to TMH with reliable and continuous care. Attendents are trained to meet patient needs effectively while maintaining the hospital’s high standards of service.

Operational Guidelines

The service will be available 24/7, with attenders assigned to specific patients for personalized care. Uniforms and proper identification are mandatory to maintain discipline and professionalism within hospital premises.

Leadership’s Vision

Pratibha Kumari expressed optimism about the initiative, stating, “This service reflects our commitment to community welfare. Each attender is trained to provide compassionate care while respecting patient dignity.”

Community Impact

The service is expected to alleviate challenges for patients and their families, particularly during extended hospital stays. It represents a step forward in improving healthcare accessibility and support systems in Jamshedpur.
