JAMSHEDPUR – Devotees gathered in large numbers at the Kachhari Bholenath Shankar Baba Temple in Sitaramdera to celebrate its Foundation Day with great devotion and grandeur.
The festivities began on December 31 with a Kalash Yatra, where women carried holy water from the Subarnarekha River to the temple. Chanting prayers, they walked in unison, creating a spiritual aura. Upon reaching the temple, the sacred water was used for Lord Shiva’s ritualistic Abhishek, filling the atmosphere with devotion.
Enthusiastic Participation in Spiritual Activities
The Kalash Yatra drew immense enthusiasm among devotees. A 24-hour Hari Kirtan followed the Abhishek, continuing until midnight. Devotees actively participated, singing praises of Lord Shiva and immersing themselves in a spiritual experience.
Distribution of Maha Prasad
The temple also organized Maha Prasad distribution for all attendees. A significant number of devotees received the blessings of Lord Shiva, adding a communal spirit to the occasion. “This event strengthens our faith and bonds within the community,” said a devotee.
