JAMSHEDPUR – The district police have unveiled a comprehensive security plan for New Year celebrations, featuring drone surveillance and strategic deployment at popular spots.
SSP Kishore Kaushal has orchestrated a multi-layered security arrangement for the city’s festivities. The police will station 100 personnel each at major locations.
Traffic Management
The traffic wing has established designated parking zones near celebration hotspots. “We have positioned traffic wardens to guide vehicles to proper parking areas,” explained a senior traffic official.
Moreover, the police will conduct random breath analyzer checks to prevent drunk driving incidents. Officials will monitor roads leading to popular destinations.
Security Coverage
The security blanket covers six major locations including Jubilee Park and Dimna Lake. Additionally, Sir Dorabji Tata Park, Bhatia Park, Hudco Lake, and Ghorabandha Theme Park will see enhanced patrolling.
Furthermore, law enforcement will utilize drone cameras for aerial surveillance. The technology will help monitor crowd movement and enable quick responses.
