JAMSHEDPUR – On the concluding day of the martyrdom fortnight commemorating the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s four sons, a Nagar Kirtan named “Chetna Yatra” was organized in Jamshedpur. The event started from the Ramdas Bhatta Gurudwara Sahib in Bistupur under the leadership of the Panj Pyare.
Honoring the Sacrifice
The Chetna Yatra paid homage to the unparalleled sacrifice of the four Sahibzadas—Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh. The procession passed through various areas of Bistupur before culminating back at the Gurudwara premises.
Active Participation
The Nagar Kirtan witnessed active participation from the Sikh community. Women sang Guru’s Sabad (hymns) throughout the journey, spreading a message of peace and devotion. The vibrant procession also emphasized the legacy of the Sahibzadas’ courage and dedication to faith.
