JAMSHEDPUR – Agricultural experts conducted a comprehensive workshop to enhance farming practices and scheme awareness.

District Council President Bari Murmu inaugurated the session. The event took place at the Joint Agriculture Building.

Moreover, the workshop covered both Kharif and Rabi seasons. Officials emphasized technical aspects of crop production.

Meanwhile, farmers learned about NFSM mechanization initiatives. The Birsa program offered complete seed subsidies.

Agricultural Support Programs

The Kusum scheme received special attention. Additionally, officials explained drip irrigation benefits under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

Furthermore, HDFC-ERGO representatives discussed crop insurance. The program aims to protect farmers against crop losses.

Equipment Distribution

Three farmers received modern farming equipment. Besides, power weeders went to Potka block beneficiaries.

In addition, officials distributed pumpsets with 50% subsidy. The ATMA scheme supported these distributions.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra scientists shared research insights. However, the focus remained on practical applications.
