Five Trains Cancelled on Dec 29 Due to Chakradharpur Rail Work

JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway has announced multiple train cancellations due to development work in Chakradharpur division.

The railway authorities have implemented service adjustments to facilitate infrastructure improvements. Meanwhile, several major routes face temporary disruptions.

Service Disruptions

Netaji Subhash Itwari Express faces cancellation on December 29. Moreover, Tatanagar-Itwari Express will not operate on the same day.

Extended Cancellations

The Rourkela-Jagdalpur-Rourkela Express faces a two-day suspension. Furthermore, Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU services remain cancelled until December 30.

Route Modifications

The Yoga Nagari Rishikesh-Puri Express will follow an alternate path. Additionally, this route includes stops at Sambalpur City.

On the other hand, similar maintenance work last month affected 12 trains. Besides, the division completed track renewal for 50 kilometers in 2023.
