JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Motors Workers Union election process gained momentum as guidelines were published on notice boards today, along with a zonal list for electing 85 committee members from 50 zones.
The World Truck Assembly Line will have the highest representation, with six members to be elected.
Assembly Line-1, Assembly Line-2, and the Frame Shop will each elect four members.
Three zones will elect three members each, while 15 zones will choose two members each.
The majority, 28 zones, will elect one member each.
Union employees were seen keenly reviewing the election schedules and discussing the upcoming polls.
