JAMSHEDPUR – Local chess talent Navieka Jaiswal secured second position in the AICF Smart Girls Project chess tournament.
The five-day FIDE-rated competition concluded on December 22. It was held at Agrasen Bhawan in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.
“This achievement showcases her exceptional chess skills,” remarked an ESDCA official.
Tournament Performance
Navieka demonstrated remarkable consistency. She scored seven points across nine rounds.
Moreover, her gameplay impressed chess experts. The tournament drew participants from across India.
Recognition
ESDCA Secretary Narendra Kumar Tiwari praised her success. International Arbiters also congratulated her.
Meanwhile, chess community members celebrated her achievement. They noted her dedication to the sport.
