MEDININAGAR – A 25-year-old dancer was shot dead in broad daylight in Hussainabad’s Dewri Road area of Palamu district.

Two bike-borne assailants called Pooja Kumari outside her home in Nartaki Mohalla. Moreover, they shot her in the head during a conversation.

The victim was rushed to the sub-divisional hospital. However, doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Swift Police Action

SDPO S Mohammad Yakub reached the crime scene immediately. Furthermore, he examined CCTV footage from nearby locations.

Meanwhile, Hussainabad MLA Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav visited the spot. He directed police officials to arrest the culprits quickly.

Investigation Progress

SP Reeshma Rameshan confirmed the love affair angle. Additionally, police have detained multiple suspects for questioning.

The shooting has created panic in the locality. Meanwhile, local residents gathered at the hospital demanding swift justice.
