JAMSHEDPUR – Model English School, Jawahar Nagar, marked its 24th annual sports day with various athletic events at the prestigious JRD Tata Sports Complex.

The school has been organizing this event since 1999. Moreover, it has grown significantly in scale and participation.

“Sports play a crucial role in students’ development,” remarked a sports educator. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across age groups.

Distinguished Presence

Dr. Amar Singh, Principal of Jamshedpur Co-operative College, attended as chief guest. Meanwhile, Shihan L. Nageswara Rao shared valuable insights.

Dr. Hassan Imam Mallick from Tata Steel’s Sports Division encouraged participants. Additionally, Akash, Area Manager, felicitated the winners.

Creative Competitions

Junior students participated in innovative races like octopus and boat races. However, seniors showcased skills in traditional athletic events.

The crab race and umbrella race added excitement to the program. Furthermore, obstacle races tested participants’ agility and coordination.

Outstanding Achievements

Md. Ayaz Khan of Class IX displayed exceptional athletic prowess. Meanwhile, Adeen Uzma of Class X shared the Best Athlete honor.

Peace House demonstrated outstanding team spirit throughout. Consequently, they emerged as overall champions.
