JAMSHEDPUR – State Health Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh, along with a ten-member team, inspected MGM Hospital’s newly constructed 750-bed facility and announced its full-scale launch by January 15.

The secretary conducted a thorough inspection of the facilities. Moreover, he directed officials to address remaining infrastructural issues promptly. The hospital aims to provide comprehensive medical services.

Medical Services Expansion

The new facility will offer specialized treatments. “We’re introducing cancer, cardiac, and neurology services,” remarked a senior hospital official. Additionally, the administration plans to recruit specialized medical staff.

Infrastructure Development

Officials have identified water supply as a priority. Furthermore, four deep borings will be installed within the hospital premises. The project aims to ensure continuous water availability for medical services.

Historical Context

MGM Medical College Hospital has served Jamshedpur since 1961. Meanwhile, this expansion marks the largest upgrade in its history. The hospital serves patients from across Jharkhand and neighboring states.
