CHAIBASA – A minor student found unconscious near her home in Jagannathpur has died during treatment, triggering protests.
The incident unfolded on Tuesday evening in Jagannathpur, West Singhbhum. Local residents discovered the victim near an Anganwadi center.
“The situation remains tense but under control,” stated a local police official.
Meanwhile, family members rushed her to Jagannathpur Community Health Centre. However, doctors referred her to Champua Hospital.
Medical Emergency and Public Response
The medical team at Champua Hospital declared her deceased. Moreover, hundreds of protesters gathered at the hospital.
In addition, angry residents caught a youth from Rahimabad locality. The suspect faced public fury before police intervention.
